How It Works
Three steps to a shareable, targeted professional presence
Organize your experience
Add your gigs, side projects, and roles once. Each entry becomes a reusable building block you can include in any resume.
Build targeted resumes
Choose the gigs that fit the role you are targeting. Customize what appears, what order it appears in, and how it is framed — without touching your other resumes.
Share a polished presence
Publish a public resume, create a links landing page, and point a custom URL wherever it needs to go. Your professional presence stays current and easy to share.
What You Can Do
Tools built for a more complex career story
Who It's For
Built for people with more than one version of their story
Job Seekers
Land more interviews with targeted resumes that speak directly to each role — without rebuilding your history every time you apply.
Freelancers & Consultants
Manage a portfolio of gigs, project work, and client engagements in one place and show the right experience to the right client.
Career Changers
Reframe your experience for a new industry without losing your history. Keep everything and selectively surface what matters.
Multi-Role Professionals
If you wear multiple hats — engineer and manager, developer and founder — build separate resume angles from the same core experience.
Why MyResumator
Most tools help you edit one resume. MyResumator helps you manage the building blocks behind your entire professional story.
Instead of copying and pasting between documents every time you apply somewhere new, you define your experience once — gigs, projects, roles — and then pick what belongs in each targeted resume. Change jobs, pivot industries, or pitch for contract work. Your base stays consistent. Your output adapts.
- Define gigs once, reuse them across every resume
- Customize order and content per resume without affecting others
- Publish a public resume with a clean, shareable URL
- Create a links landing page for your whole professional presence
- Let AI help with job matching and career guidance
- Built for people with complex, non-linear careers
Personalized URL
Claim a cleaner, more memorable link to your professional presence.
Instead of a long auto-generated URL, claim a short slug like /u/your-name and point it to any resume or external link. You can also set up a full personalized subdomain like yourname.myresumator.com for a more branded experience.
These are ideal for resumes, business cards, LinkedIn profiles, or anywhere you want a professional, permanent link that you control.
Point your slug to a resume, your links page, or any URL you choose.
AI Tools
Two AI-powered tools, two different jobs to do
Job Pilot
Your private AI career advisor. Job Pilot works with all of your enabled gigs across your account to help you think through your next move, explore opportunities, and stay focused in your job search. Only you can see it.
RoleMate
A public AI comparison tool attached to a specific resume. Visitors — including recruiters and collaborators — can paste a job description and instantly see how your background aligns. It turns your public resume into an interactive match tool.
The Story
Built because I needed it.
I have been in tech for a long time. Over the years, I accumulated dozens of gigs, side projects, contract roles, and full-time positions across multiple industries. Every time I applied somewhere new, I spent hours copying and reshaping the same experience into a new document.
MyResumator started as a personal tool to fix that. I have owned the domain since 2007 and built this as the thing I wished existed. I am a solo developer, and the product reflects real problems I ran into — not a startup pitch deck.
If you have a complex work history, you probably understand the problem. This was built for you.
